Startups I'm Keeping an Eye On - Feb'26 🚀

We're back with another round! This month covers AI rebuilding supply chains, vertical accounting software for farms, and tools changing how developers work. During my research I’ve noticed origin stories tell a lot about a founder’s perspective, grit, and source of inspiration.

Here are the 10 companies:

1. Ambrook - Financial tools for farmers and rural businesses.
Co-founder & CEO, Mackenzie's mission is to build a more prosperous and resilient future for America's family-run businesses. Their insight that "cattle and crops have literal lifecycles" reveals why vertical software wins. Generic tools force farmers into workarounds where Ambrook removes them.

2. Auger - Autonomous OS for supply chain operations.
Founded by Dave Clark, who spent 23 years at Amazon and helped set new standards in logistics. Building the OS for enterprise supply chain with a mission to orchestrate half of U.S. non-services GDP by 2030.

3. fal - Generative media platform for developers.
Founders Burkay and Gorkem host 600+ models for developers to use. They have grown to serve 2M+ developers and 200 enterprises powering the next wave of media applications.

4. Heidi - AI care partner helping expand clinical capacity.
Founded by a vascular surgical resident who experienced the burden firsthand. 80% adoption rate vs. 20-40% across other products tells me the product actually works.

5. Listen Labs - Conduct customer interviews with real people. Fast.
Co-founders, Alfred and Florian first built a viral AI avatar app that gained 20K users in one day. That led them to build a tool to learn from those users which became Listen Labs.

6. Miter - The modern construction OS.
CEO, Connor interned at an accounting firm serving construction companies. Within days he saw that construction had payroll and HR problems modern software hadn't solved. They've since raised $38M from Bessemer and Coatue.

7. Pinch AI - Return fraud prevention for eCommerce.
Return fraud costs retailers $100B annually. That's why Arthi and team built a product delivering an 8% reduction in return rates. 20+ years building fraud systems at PayPal and Google applied to this underserved problem.

8. TwelveLabs - Search and understand your videos with AI.
CEO, Jae was inspired handling massive video data at the Cyber Operations Command. They realized there was no efficient way to search through it. Now they're making video as searchable as text.

9. Vizcom - Turn sketches to 3D renders in seconds.
Co-founder and CEO Jordan was a former industrial designer at Honda and NVIDIA who lived the problem. Turning hand sketches into photorealistic 3D renders changes iteration speed for physical product design.

10. Warp - The agentic development environment.
CEO, Zach recently launched Oz, an orchestration platform for spinning up unlimited parallel cloud agents. They're now seeing 350K+ agent conversations per day.

Are you using any of these at work? Let me know!
