I’m heading to SaaStr Annual 2025!
I’m heading to SaaStr Annual 2025! Here’s Why I’m Excited to Finally Attend 📣
Back when I was building my B2B SaaS startup, SaaStr was one of my go-to resources. Jason M. Lemkin and team built a community of like-minded builders. The blog became a treasure trove of advice filled with frameworks, stories, and lessons learned from other founders. It made me a better operator.
But I never made it to the actual conference. That changes this year!
I’m excited to attend my first SaaStr Annual and here are 3 reasons why I’m looking forward to it:
1. Conversations with Builders in B2B & AI
I enjoy hearing what people are working on, how they got there, and what perspectives they bring to the problems they’re solving. There’s something energizing about meeting face-to-face and sharing stories with other builders. The serendipity is real at events like this.
2. Learning from Leaders Who’ve Been There
Hearing how operators scaled their products and teams help me shape my own worldview. Every perspective gives me something to reflect on and think about how I can apply these lessons in my own way. Also, much like after a great concert, a powerful talk sticks with me and recharges my energy.
Here are a few talks I’m excited for:
• Aaron Levie (CEO at Box) - “AI, Agents and The Next Era of SaaS”
• Dmitry Shevelenko (CBO at Perplexity) - “The First $100M ARR in AI”
• Shannon Duffy (CMO at Asana) - “Adding AI to SaaS: Pricing, Product and More”
• Anique Drumright (VP, Product at Rippling)
• Jesse Zhang (CEO at Decagon) - “The Future of Agents and Automation: Where Will We Need Humans?”
3. The New AI Demo Stage
This year, SaaStr is launching a new AI pitch competition hosted by Navin Chaddha and the team at Mayfield. Out of hundreds of startups they’ll select a winner. The winner has a chance to win investment from Mayfield's AI Garage fund. I’m really curious to see what the early stage AI crowd is building. This new format will be interesting to see how it evolves over time.
Will you be at SaaStr Annual in the SF Bay Area on May 13th - 15th?
If so, DM me on LinkedIn. Let’s meet up and talk about what you’re building or thinking about. See you there!
